I’m delighted to share that the ICB Cambridgeshire Branch has been shortlisted for ICB Branch of the Year at the 2026 LUCA Awards! 🎉🥰
I started the Cambridgeshire Branch back in 2013, after hearing such great things about other ICB branches and wanting to create that same sense of support locally.
Since then, we’ve held 81 meetings, covering a huge variety of topics and learning plenty along the way. Most importantly, though, we’ve supported each other.
And I include myself in that. ❤️
The support isn’t just something I organise for other people. I get just as much from our branch community as I hope everyone else does.
We first entered the LUCA Awards in 2021, so perhaps this will be sixth time lucky! 🤞😂
I’m incredibly proud of my own LUCA Awards. Bookkeeping Personality 2023, Small Practice of the Year 2024 and Bookkeepers Champion 2024 are all very, very special to me.
They have pride of place and are permanently in my eyeline! 🏆🥰
But this nomination feels different.
The Branch sums up so much of what the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers means to me. It’s about community, friendship, sharing knowledge and making sure that none of us has to figure everything out on our own.
ICB really is a family, and I’m very proud to have been part of it for nearly 20 years. ❤️
Huge congratulations to Aberdeenshire Branch and Kent Branch, who are shortlisted alongside us, and to everyone who has made a 2026 LUCA Awards shortlist.
Being shortlisted is an achievement in itself. 🎉
